Finally, I have the last part of the huge holo comparison for you guys! Sorry that this took quite a while to do, I just have had so many other things to post too... But anyhow, here it is! You can check the first part here and the second here if you missed those.

In this final part I will have quite a few of purple holographics to show you guys with some black, silver, gold and orange ones too. I also wanted again to remind you that if the sticks look a bit different, that's because I have three different types of those swatch sticks and one type of them were the bad ones, which melt under the polish. So if some polishes look a bit wrinkly and that's because I had a bad patch of sticks, so just ignore that, it's not the fault of the polishes.

But let's start with those purple ones!

So yeah, I have quite a few of these..... The first two pictures (this one and the close-up one) are taken in direct sunlight and the second two are in shade. As you can see, eventhough I have quite a few of these, none of them are really dupes. There are some that are pretty close, for example Perfect H7 and Color Club Eternal Beauty, but even those have some slight difference.

I do know that I don't need this many purple holographics, so I have already gotten rid of two of those Perfect holographics (H1 and H3) as they weren't really that special (they are pretty good holographics nonetheless!). I also sold Color Club Wild At Heart, just because I wasn't too fond of the holographic effect it had and I do have some prettier ones already. I do know that I don't have anything that would be similar colorwise to that one, but there's just no point of keeping them all. Also, I have sold DMGM Cherry Light and China Glaze When Stars Collide, the first one has a quite pretty color, but I chose to keep a-england Sleeping Beauty instead and I just don't like the style and effect of those China Glaze Hologlams.

So from the top row I still have the first one (China Glaze IDK) because I like the color and it's really different from the others (and because it's kinda htf). I also have the last two from the top row, Milani Hi-Res and Catrice Dirty Berry because they are unique ones to me. From the second row, I still have the second one (Color Club Eternal Beauty), the third one (China Glaze LOL), the fourth one (Teeez! Outta Control) and the last one (a-england Lady of the Lake). All those four are different from each other and they all also have quite a good formula (well, maybe not LOL), and of course all the colors are really pretty.

The last row I have only the first one (Catherine Arley #673) and the last one (a-england Sleeping Beauty) as I prefered them over the two others and again, they have quite nice formula and the colors are really pretty.

Then I have the silver ones and the black ones to show you.

As you can see, I only have seven of these, four silvers and three black. All of them are unique, though the black ones are really close to each other. HITS Zeus and Glitter Gal Black 3D/Holo are almost dupes, so I decided I wanted to keep only one of them and I went with the Glitter Gal one. Catherine Arley has a slightly different type of holographic effect compared to that Glitter Gal one, so they both can stay in my stash, at least for now. All those four silvers are quite different from each other and especially Milani HD and a-england Ascalon are really unique ones in my stash. GOSH Holographic and Glitter Gal Silver 3D/Holo are pretty close, but their holographic effect is still different and their formula too. The Glitter Gal one is really sheer, so it suits well for layering. GOSH Holographic has probably the most intense holographic effect from all my holo polishes, so it's definately staying.

Then I only have four other holographics left!

These are all significantly different and I don't really have anything to compare them to. Gold isn't really my color, so I only have two gold holographics, China Glaze GR8 and Milani 3D. I don't really know too many yellow(ish) holographics, so Catherine Arley #801 is really unique in my stash. It isn't really my type of colors, but it's still staying. I would like to own more orange holographics, but those are pretty hard to find too, so I only have Catherine Arley #806.

Phew, now I'm done with these comparisons! Hope these were helpful for you guys, at least they were that to me as I managed to get rid of some polishes that were too close to others and some that I didn't really like in the first place. But tell me guys, which ones did you like the most?

Tänään on siis vuorossa viiminen osio holovertailuista ja esittelyssä violetit, mustat, hopeiset, kultaiset ja oranssi ja keltainen. Ekan osion holovertailuista voit kurkata täältä ja tokan täältä, jos ne on jääneet välistä (ne on tosin ainoastaan englanniksi). Vaikka noita violetteja onkin kertynyt runsaasti, mitkään eivät ole kuitenkaan keskenään täysin samanlaisia, mutta useamman onnistuin kuitenkin tuosta satsista karsimaan, lähinnä vaan miettimällä mitkä lakoista ovat mieleisimpiä minulle. Hopeisia/mustia löytyy kokoelmista ainoastaan seitsemän ja hopeiset eroaa toisistaan kaikki aika lailla. Nuo kolme mustaa ovat keskenään melko samanlaisia, joten HITSin Zeusille on jo löytynyt uusi koti, mutta ainakin vielä Catherine Arley ja Glitter Gal saivat jäädä. Loput neljä poikkeaa kaikkia toisistaan hyvinkin paljon eikä niissä oikeen tietysti ollutkaan vertailtavaa. Kulta ei vaan ole minun väri, joten niitä ei siitä syystä löydy enempää. Keltaisia tai oransseja holoja on aika harvassa, vaikka mielelläni omistaisin enemmänkin ainakin oransseja holoja. Toivottavasti näistä vertailuista oli teillekin jotakin hyötyä, ainakin nämä helpotti karsimaan omaa kokoelmaa!

Favorite Color Combo

Today's challenge in Adventures In Stamping is "Favorite Color Combo". My favorite colors are green and purple. Here I use different shades of the two colors. I like all kinds of purple, from pastel to vampy dark, and from nearly pink to nearly blue(, maybe because I also like pink and blue?) I also love most greens, but not all of them. In this mani I tried to put my favourite colors together, but now that I see the result, I don't think it's my favourite color combo.

I used Konad m69 on the pinkie and middle finger. I also stamped with Konad SP Green and Cheeky Jumbo plate 9 Wild at Heart on the thumb, but it didn't turn out so well, but here is a photo of what it looked like before the stamping, where you can see the thumb:

Here comes the last post of my stash post series and I have the fourth drawer of my Helmer to show you. Remember to check the previous posts too, if you haven't already, you can find the first part here where I have also some general info about my stash, and the the second part here and third here.

So in the fourth drawer I have several different brands as it is pretty much the drawer that use for the polishes that I only own one or two or so. Also, I have some brands here too that I own more, but they don't really fit to the previous drawers.

But here's how the drawer looks like:

Like you can see this one is also pretty full like all the rest of the drawers I've shown you.. But the again, if I can empty the last drawer where I keep all my untrieds (remeber that I moved all the untrieds to the drawers they would belong, so technically it was empty when I took the pics of the other drawers) then I could move some polishes around. Anyhow, like I said this is quite a mixed drawer, though there are some brands here too with several polishes, for example Essence, Gosh, Golden Rose, Lumene and so on. Also the swap with Akuma Kanji filled this dreawer quite a bit...

But let's take a closer look to all the polishes, right?!

So first off, there's the two P2 polishes that I own, Stormy and Gracious. Then I have only one Miss Selene and it's number 236, two H&M polishes Confetti Time and Pink Bling Bling, and then one Maybelline Express Finish polish called Denim Dash.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Models Own polishes, so I have only three (I've had more but they weren't that special..). These are Ibiza Mix, Sterling Silver and Purple Blue. Then I have one beauty uk polish and it's called Metallic Lilac and then two e.l.f. polishes that are Golden Goddess and Black.

I only have one Borghese polish, Raspberry Sorbetto. I also have only two Wet n Wild polishes, they are Kaleidoscope (one of my favourite glitter toppers) and Sunny Side Up. The two Mavala polishes I got from our previous meeting and they are Roma and Honolulu.

Then these are all different brands and I only own one polish from each brand. These are: Benecos Dream On (gotten from the meeting), BK Emerald Green Silver Shimmer (gotten from BPS), Eyeko Cosmic Polish, Celia Woman Nr 2 (gotten from beautycosmetic.biz), Donegal Beauty Shine (doesn't have number or name on it, also gotten from beautycosmetic.biz), We Care Icon Macig Asteroid (gotten from the meeting) and Kicks Fab Jean.

Next off are all my GOSH polishes: Powder, Milky Way, Vanilla Ice, Rainbow, Holographic, Gasoline and Purple Heart.

Then I have three Jesse's Girl polishes: Confetti, Spring Break and Glee, one Maybelline Colorama called Worn In and one Barielle polish called A Bouquet For Ava.

I also the three Teeez! holographic polishes thanks to the awesome Reile from the Netherlands. They are: Cool, Outta Control and Smooth. The two Catrice polishes are Gold Leaf Top Coat and Dirty Berry (gotten from my first swap with the lovely Ritterbraten).

I also have few Essence polishes, first off the older bottle versions: Wake Up!, Time For Romance, Blue Addicted, Out of My Mind (also gotten from the swap with Ritterbraten), Break Trough and Fateful Desire.

Then the newer bottle versions of Essence polishes: Oh My Glitter!, That's What I Mint!, Ballerina's Charm, Let's Get Lost, Grey-t To Be Here, Hello Marshmallow! (gotten from the swap with Akuma Kanji) and Miss Universe.

The first three polishes here are somewhat special for me, because they are Berlin themed (and I loooooove Berlin!) and I only got them thanks to two awesome ladies (Reile and Ritterbraten)! The first one is Catrice polish called Berlin and the two Essence polishes are from the I Love Berlin LE collection and they are called Berlin Story and Love This City. Then I have also one of those Essence nail art special effect toppers, this one is called Mrs and Mr Glitter, and then I have two Gina Tricot polishes called Monaco Blue and Sparkling Hot.

Next off are all my Golden Rose Jolly Jewels polishes, these are numbers: 111, 113, 117, 118, 119, 121 and 123.

I also have two Golden Rose Matte Velvet polishes, numbers 107 and 101 and two Golden Rose Paris polishes, numbers 69 and 322. I only have two Flormar polishes, these are the duochrome ones numbers DC05 and DC06.

Then in the next two pics are some of those awesome polishes that Akuma Kanji sent me from Portugal, these are Andreia Pocket numbers 101, 106 and 108, Andreia Higicol numbers 37 and 70, Risque Cintilante Agreste and Yes Love polish from the caviar manicure set.

The polishes gotten from the swap continue: Inocos Amarelinho and Maria Menina, Leticia Well #426, Cliché Hippie and Maldivas, Carlos Santos #623 and DERMExcellence #32.

Then I have one Manhattan polish number 66G, three Kleancolor polishes: Chunky Holo Poppy, Chunky Holo Purple and Holo Chrome, and one Sinful Colors polish called Daddy's Girl.

The first two Mereneid brand polishes are also gotten from the meeting, but they don't seem to have any clear numbers or names on them. Then I have two Eveline polishes, the first one is number 412 and the second miniMAX one is number 411, then the last two are from a brand called DMGM, I bought these from Dubai and they are scattered holographic polishes called Grape Light and Cherry Light.

Then here's all my Sally Hansen polishes, first one is from the HD series and it's called DVD, then I have the three Lustre Shine polishes that I got from our meeting and they are called Lava, Plume and Scarab.

And then finally here are all my polishes from the Finnish brand called Lumene and these are Moment of Miracle, Queen of the Night, Beyond the Dark, I'm Losing You, With the Flow and Magical Moment.

Phew, now I've show you my whole stash! I though this was quite fun to go through the whole stash, I hope you've liked these posts too!

Gosh #598 Bubble Gum is the pink cream nail polish I've used in nearly all the nail art that includes the color pink that you have seen on this blog. I felt that it was time for you to see it on it's own. I'll also include photos of and links to the nail art where I've used Bubble Gum so far.

The reason why I've used it so much is that it's a medium pink (not too orange, not too red, not too light, not too dark), and it's a 1- 2 coater. I mean that on some nails I use 2 and on other nails I need only 1 coat. The formula of my Gosh creams (except for Miss Grey) is on the thick side. So it's possible to use them layered over other colors too. I also like that Gosh is on the animal organizations' cruelty free lists :-) I think I bought Bubble Gum when it was 30% off in 2011.
