mi- ny: #244 I LOVE HONG KONG+ layering

Hello everyone!

Today I want to show you one more nail polish from mi- ny: #244 I LOVE HONG KONG (ILHK). It's a green polish with lots of bar/string glitter. I will show you the polish on it's own (on my left hand), and layered over five polishes (on the right hand).

2 coats looked sufficient, but when I looked at the photos, I saw that I needed 3 coats. And as you will see when I try to layer ILHK, it's pretty opaque. In the bottle the glitter looks silver, but on the nail the bar/string glitter looks silver light green and holographic. On the first photo and the next one, I've used 2 coats. The rest are with 3 coats.

As many of my nail polishes ILHK is unique in my (not very big) collection, but this time I think I haven't seen any polish like it. From the photos I've seen, the base color of ILHK is not as bright as Toshop 'Hat Trick', and not as dark as Shaka 'Nature', but those are not string glitters.

Here you see the colors I chose to layer ILHK over:

And here you see the result with 1 coat of ILHK:

1 coat of mi- ny: 'I love Hong Kong'-  layered over 5 green polishes
It totally covered the holographic (Kismet), and I don't see much point in layering it, except for layering over colors like TL Design Bombay. But you could make the bottle last longer, as one coat is enough for layering. I had imagined that ILHK would look gorgeous over black, but after seeing how much it covered the darkest green, I don't think so. You can compare the layering with the picture below:

As I've mentioned before, mi- ny is an Italian brand, and their nail polish is 3- Free, and not tested on animals :-)
(The other mi- ny polishes I have showed so far is the blue 'Blue Sky', and I've used that one and the mint colored 'Klimt' for nail art.)

Have you seen a similar nail polish?

Perfect #S41

I have been loving all those great glitter polishes lately and today is no exception, because I have a gorgeous black and pink glitter to show you!

Remember those gorgeous and affordable holographic polishes that I posted while ago? (If not you can check out the post here). This glitter polish is from the same brand called Perfect and this is pretty neat, right?! I have here just one coat of the polish number S41* over Maybelline Colorama Worn In*. This is quite simple polish with two different sizes of black hexagonal glitter and little bit bigger hexagonal pink glitter, but at the same time this is really pretty!

Like I said in my previous haul post, I got this to try from beautycosmetic.biz and this is one of the new Perfect polishes that will be added to their shop soon. You can see all the Perfect glitters here in Beauty cosmetic Facebook. There seems to be some quite interesting glitter polishes coming I think. At least this one was really easy to work with and you get nice amount of the glitter on your nails with just one coat, so if the rest of these glitter polishes are the same quality, I will surely be interested in couple of those. Also those Perfect holographic polishes cost only 1.05€ ($1.59) so I figure that these glitters won't be too expensive either. These glitters also come in bigger bottles than those tiny holographic polishes. It probably says how much they contain on the side of the bottle, but it's impossible to read the black print of the labels because the polish is so black too, but I'd say the bottle looks pretty much the same size as a-england polishes and they contain 13ml (4 Fl.Oz) of polish each.

Edit: The prize of this polish will be 1.58€ and these will be added tomorrow to beautycosmetic.biz, so it's very affordable and I'd say it's easily worth that much of money! :)
