31DC13 Day 10: Gradient Nails

It's day 10 of the challenge and so it's time for some gradient nails. I have done quite a few gradients already, so I tried to think of a color that I haven't (at least recently) done it, so I decided to go with pink.

The final mani ended up looking really soft and sweet and I have to say that I really liked this color combo, though I don't wear these soft pinks too often! I started the mani with Essie We're In It Together and then I did the gradient with that same Essie and Butter London Disco Biscuit. Both of the polishes have similar shimmer in them, so they were quite easy to combine. After the gradient was done, I also added some Nubar White Polka Dot on top.

The only bad thing with this mani was the fact that the blue-ish shimmer in those Essie and Butter London polishes was the kind of shimmer that really gets stuck on your skin. I should have covered my cutictle area with some tape, because it was really impossible to clean up that shimmer! And as you can see, I didn't even manage to get everything off. But I still loved this mani and the combination of the polishes!
