OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender
Hello everybody!

OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender |
This is "Lucky Lucky Lavender" (LLL) by OPI.
Edited June 13th 2013: OPI is no longer on the animal organizations' cruelty- free lists :-(

I didn't get LLL from Santa last year, so when I found it on sale in January, I bought it. (For all of you who can't stop wondering which OPI nail polish Santa did give me; It was Fresh Frog of Bel Air. And if you want to see two photos of it, click
here).

As you see, LLL is a pastel purple cream nail polish that is very close to pink. Depending on which colors you put next to it and the lighting, it'll look more pink or more purple. Here you see it next to pink.

I guess most of you already know or have this polish, since it is one of the popular nail polishes from the Hong Kong Collection of Spring 2010. To see Scrangie's post about the collection, click

For these photos I've used 3- 4 coats of OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender, and base- and top coat from Cult Nails. I like the color very much, but I think I've only used this polish once. And that is because of the formula. It was difficult to apply. When I first opened the bottle, there was polish on the top of the bottle, as if the cap was to big, so I might have gotten a bad bottle.

Let's look at some bottle shots.

According to many blogs, OPI is 3 free, and has been for some years. If the label under the bottle is green, your bottle is 3-free. |

I like to wear colors like LLL just as they are, especially after wearing dark colors. But sometimes, after some days I put glitter over it.

OPI is a US company, but is sold in many countries. In some countries it's much cheaper to buy OPI nail polish online, but remember to check how much the seller takes for shipping when comparing the prices.

OPI has a
web site, where you can "try the nail polish colors on" and change skin tone and the length of your nails.

OPI is still on the animal organisations Cruelty- free lists. I've heard that OPI has been bought by a company that do test on animals. But because the animal organisations haven't removed OPI from the list, I hope we can still trust that they don't test on animals. According to Cult Nails, Cult Nails is also cruelty- free.
